# How to Block Someone on TikTok (Without Them Knowing)

**To block someone on TikTok, open their profile, tap the share arrow or the three-dot menu at the top right, tap Block and confirm.** TikTok doesn’t notify them. ## How Do You Block Someone on TikTok?

**You block someone from their profile, from a comment, from a direct message or during a LIVE.** Listed below are the 5 steps from a profile, which works on iPhone and Android.

1.  **Open** the profile of the account you want to block.
2.  **Tap** the share arrow or the three-dot menu at the top right.
3.  **Tap** **Block**.
4.  **Confirm** by tapping **Block** again.
5.  **Check** the profile: it now shows that you’ve blocked the account, with an **Unblock** button.

On tiktok.com, open the profile, click the three-dot menu next to the follow button, and choose **Block**.

## How Do You Block Several Accounts at Once?

**To block several accounts, press and hold a comment on your video, choose the option to manage multiple comments, select the comments, then block the accounts that wrote them.** This is the fastest way to deal with a pile-on, where many accounts post the same abuse. Any existing follow between you is removed. If you unblock later, the follow doesn’t come back on its own.

## Can You Block Someone Without Them Knowing?
